We went out and had ourselves a day. With a nice warm day in January we started out with air Temps in the 60s and water Temps rising to match, we just knew there would be some chances at a nice class of fish! Spencer had the hot hand to start the day off and once we dropped him off after lunch me and Thomas were finally able to get a shot. Ended strong with a 29 and 24! We released all the big girls and several 20"+ to go along with. There's going to be some phenomenal fishing to come in ot&nbsp; next 2 months! Me and the boys went out this morning anticipating some wind but not as much as we bargained for! When the plans for trout fishing just didn't work out we decided to beat the banks looking something too catch. It seems the flounder population is coming along well thanks to the regulations helping protect our fisheries!

We spent a beautiful morning out fishing on the Pamlico! A good variety of species and a few quality fish as well! The fishing was hot and so was the heat! Still a few days left to get in on some summer time trout fishing!
